headed to the church hall to have a christmas lunch with the ladies from unicef. it was brilliant! the fundraiser officer said that we did very good this year, in fact, we were the group who raised more funds, so i was very pleased. taking part of this organisation has truly changed my perspective and i’m thrilled to be able to contribute my accounting knowledge next year.
for some reason, reading books of any sort didn’t appeal to me at all (have explained this on goodreads tho). this year, have read books in english and as it’s not my native language i have to relate the meaning of the words to the context or simply look for it on the dictionary. english language never ceases to amaze me, i swear that every single word has at least ten synonyms and i can’t notice the same in the spanish language. if i’m wrong please let me know.
been practicing the keyboard for most of the day and it’s good to know that my ability to play is still there. also, been learning to read the notes and so far, have learned the general ones. the keyboard has this handy feature that allows me to follow the notes by watching a tiny screen but would rather know which notes i’m supposed to be playing.
just ordered the christmas presents from amazon! finally december is here and houses facades are sparkling. looking forward to seeing my family and friends again. happy days!
this morning went christmas shopping hopping to get a pair of dresses but unfortunately i only liked one. there are more than twenty shops out there and it’s unbelievable that i hardly ever like something. not even on internet i can find what i want. wondering if i’m the only one with the same problem.
